[0001] Specification

Protection nobody wrote down is protection nobody can prove.

USA Innovations IT is a managed security brand for shops, practices, trades and back offices. Everything sold here is set out the way a specification is set out: numbered, described, priced, and candid about its own edge. Pick whichever of the twenty four lines suit your premises, and all of them resolve to a single account.

[0002] Prior art

Four openings nobody ever wrote down.

What closes a small business tends to arrive silently. No shelf is emptied. A duplicate walks out, or credentials keep answering years after their owner left, and the first visible symptom is a rival who seems unusually well briefed. These four come up more often than anything else we are called about.

22Ref. 22

The temporary hand who kept a copy

Weekend cover, a locum, a subcontractor through one busy season. By the second shift your customer list had gone onto equipment this business does not own, cannot inspect and has no means of erasing. That engagement ended. The copy did not.

24Ref. 24

The mailbox everyone believes

Orders, statements and every supplier payment detail move through a single address. Whoever holds it faces no further obstacle at all. They can request money outright, signing off in a name the recipient has trusted for years.

26Ref. 26

The drive under the desk

Photographs of completed jobs, the scans, the exports, the folder too large for whichever storage plan you pay for. One piece of hardware, nothing duplicating it, and an unspoken agreement across the office never to raise the subject.

28Ref. 28

The login that still turns

An account opened for somebody who moved on two winters back. The credentials answer, the share opens, and no one recalls creating it. Left alone it outlives several more employees, because nothing ever prompts anybody to go and check.

[0003] The claims

Six claims. Twenty four lines. One telephone number.

Nothing here comes bundled. Every line brings a unit and a month of its own, and the whole selection resolves to one invoice. Every claim page names the mechanism, prints the figure, and marks the point beyond which that claim no longer holds.

Claim 1

Continuous observation

SentinelOne with Fluency

Sensors on the hardware, several records held side by side above them, and named people who act rather than forward you a chart over breakfast.

  • Conduct based verdicts on Windows, macOS, Linux and container hosts.
  • Fluency holds the records beside each other, so a case turns up whole.
  • Three tiers, from advice only up to isolating and undoing.

Claim 2

Permitted execution

ThreatLocker

Declined unless named, on the hardware that keeps the money and the records. Unapproved software gets no hearing on whether it should start.

  • The observation period assembles that list from whatever your staff genuinely open.
  • Supplier releases get followed, which stops an update shutting the office out.
  • Ringfencing narrows whatever a permitted program can reach.

Claim 3

Examined correspondence

Ironscales

Examination performed inside the tenant itself, whether Microsoft or Google, with rehearsal alongside to raise the floor under your staff.

  • Joined over the platform interfaces, which is what lets delivered post be examined.
  • Impersonation and payment redirection caught against your own habits.
  • Brief lessons land with whoever turns out to want them.

Claim 4

Enrolled apparatus

N-able N-sight, with Addigy and Zimperium

Hardware updated, browsing filtered, Apple estate administered, handsets watched by somebody whose job that actually is.

  • N-able N-sight covers monitoring, updates, scripting and remote assistance.
  • Filtering rides the identical agent, and no box gets bought or racked.
  • Addigy administers Apple hardware. Zimperium takes iOS and Android.

Claim 5

Located records

Actifile

Establish where the customer material is, since nothing unlocated can be governed, then set what is permitted to happen to it.

  • Reads machines and shares for payment and identity material at rest.
  • Attaches a figure to every machine, and a figure is what lets work be ordered.
  • Encryption and path control on the routes material genuinely departs by.

Claim 6

Duplicate copies

N-able Cove with Dropsuite

Duplicates held apart from whatever they duplicate, and recovery rehearsed to a rota instead of assumed.

  • Duplicates at whole machine and at document level, from desks, servers and guests.
  • N-able Cove handles Microsoft. Dropsuite handles Workspace, the directory, the ledger.
  • Rehearsed recovery, so a restore becomes a dated record fit to show people.

[0004] The model room

We did not invent these. We keep them running.

Marketing departments like to hint that a managed service was built in the room behind them. None of ours was. Ten commercial platforms sit beneath this brand, each picked for holding up during ordinary daily use, each licensed through Fortify 24x7, and looked at by staff throughout every working hour. Naming the instrument, and naming who makes it, is worth a great deal more than a sealed box arriving with a story.

DetectionSentinelOne

Conduct based verdicts and autonomous action across every operating system in the register, container hosts among them.

CorrelationFluency

Sets separate records alongside one another, which is how a case reaches the desk carrying its own surroundings.

ExecutionThreatLocker

Naming, ringfencing and elevation control, applied to whichever machines a stranger would most enjoy running code on.

MailIronscales

Examination joined inside your own tenant over its published interfaces. Not a gateway, and not described as one anywhere here.

FleetN-able N-sight

Monitoring, updates, scripting, remote assistance and name filtering, the whole set carried on one agent.

AppleAddigy

Administration for Mac and iOS hardware that has stopped being left to fend for itself in a corner.

HandsetsZimperium

Verdicts reached on the handset itself, covering Android and iOS hardware that receives company post.

RecordsActifile

Establishing where regulated material sits, attaching a figure to every machine, and encrypting whatever travels the routes out.

CopiesN-able Cove

Whole machine and document level duplicates, taken off desks, from back room servers, from hypervisor guests, and from a Microsoft tenant.

CopiesDropsuite

Duplicates for Google Workspace tenants, for the Entra ID arrangement, and for whatever the QuickBooks Online ledger holds.

Ten instruments, licensed and operated through Fortify 24x7
[0005] Filing through to issue

The first fortnight, stage by stage.

Not one committee is required. From first telephone call to settled and quiet is ordinarily a fortnight, and the unhurried portion is almost always the adjusting afterwards rather than the installing.

Day nought

The scoping call

Thirty minutes on the telephone. Machine numbers, platform mix, who keeps the administrative keys, and which loss would actually sting. That call finishes with a numbered list and a monthly figure. No document with a cover page.

Day nought

Entering the folio

Choose the lines here and settle by card. Payment occurs on a Stripe page, which keeps the number entirely out of sight from this side. Charges recur monthly and land before the period they pay for, under the name FORTIFY 24X7.

Day one

Instruments issued

Installers plus enrolment links show up in the portal, in most cases before that day is out. Windows, Apple hardware and handsets go by three different routes, none of which requires anybody there to learn an administrative console.

Week one

The heavy first pass

A first reading covers all of it, which makes the opening pass the heaviest one. Machines want to stay powered while that happens. From then onward, only what altered gets transferred.

Week two

In force

Findings land with our people rather than piling up in your post. The portal remains yours: lines, installers, and a record of each filing raised. A named human answers when you call.

Refused
[0006] Where the claim stops

Five refusals, stated plainly.

Elsewhere, complete coverage gets promised. Nobody sells it, this brand included, so what follows is the boundary drawn where it genuinely falls.

  • We hold no patents and this buys you none. This register describes protection, and describing is all it does. Nothing here is filed at any office, no rights are secured for anybody, and no invention is defended, ours least of all. Patents, trademarks and actions against infringers are attorney work. We volunteer that before anybody has to ask.
  • This is not insurance. No entry on this register reimburses anybody for anything. Policies come from underwriters, elsewhere. Several underwriters will want controls resembling these installed before they write one, which is a very different relationship from being the policy itself.
  • Nothing here inspects the thing you sell. Examining a website, reading through code and probing an application are separate trades with separate practitioners. Pointing at the gap serves you better than leaving it vague.
  • Somebody allowed to see a file can still keep it. Anybody with legitimate access to a record can walk away holding a copy. The answer lives in departure procedure, periodic review of who can open what, and the wording used in your employment contracts. Not one of those is software on a laptop.
  • Coverage begins at enrolment. A line reaches enrolled devices and connected tenants. It reaches nothing else. Equipment that never went through enrolment stands outside the whole register, whatever sum appears on the invoice.
[0007] Schedule of lines

Twenty four entries, unit and figure printed against each.

Figures land from billing as this page is opening, which is the reason a printed number and a charged number agree. Put in your counts, amend them within the folio, and settle when the list looks correct. All of it resolves to one subscription.

Figures failed to arrive from billing. Reloading normally sorts it out. Should the schedule stay empty, write to support@usainnovationsit.com and somebody here will draw the quote up by hand.
